About us:

"Solace" is an organisation operating in the South Warwickshire area and funded by the South Warwickshire Primary Care NHS Trust (the Trust) and Warwickshire County Council (Social Services Department). It was set up in 1993 to coincide with the then new Government policy of encouraging people with mental illness to live more independent lives within their community.

We operate an 'out of hours' service between 7.00pm and 1.00am most nights of the year. We have two branches, one based in the Resource Centre at Stratford Hospital, and one at Park House in Leamington. We offer a confidential and non-judgemental listening service to give help, support and comfort to people in distress.

How Solace is operated:

Solace is a registered Charity No. 1099262, operated by a Management Committee consisting of its Trustees. Day to day management is conducted by the Solace Co-ordinator, who reports to the Committee

Complaints procedure:

Should a complaint arise, Solace has a procedure to resolve such matters. A copy of the complaints procedure is available by clicking the complaints procedure link under the related links section of this page.
